There have been a lot of birthdays recently in Sarah's preschool class, well actually half birthdays because most of the class has summer birthdays. During quiet time one day, Sarah was singing Happy Birthday to Snow White (one of her princess dolls). The next day was Friday and we don't have any activities on Fridays, so I came up with the idea of a Princess Party. We baked and frosted cupcakes and then after quiet time, Sarah excitedly gathered 5 of her Princess dolls and one Barbie and got them all dressed in their fancy dresses (they are usually naked) and Sarah dressed up in her princess attire as well! We had fun singing Happy Birthday to ALL the princesses and then eating the cupcakes while the princesses watched. :) Sarah has also been watching the Barbie movie 12 Dancing Princesses and was immediately transformed into a dancing princess as she put on her princess dress, gold slippers and tiara. At the end of the day, Sarah said the best part of her day was the party...music to a mother's ears!
